Dr. Bain
Dr. Brian Bain, co-founder of the Brian & Mahala Bain Foundation, was born and raised in Freeport Grand, Bahamas. He was raised by his mother but did not allow the odds set against him hold him back from reaching success and investing back into the community. Dr. Bain has 3 successful dental practices in the West Georgia area, located in Bowdon, Carrollton, and Villa Rica. His goal is to continuously contribute to the community things he believed his community lacked by providing jobs, providing education and mentorship opportunities. Dr. Bain loves mentorship, fishing, and photography. By demonstrating that a “growth mindset” will take you far, he continues to always be a student of life.
Mahala Bain
Mahala Bain, co-founder of the Brian & Mahala Bain Foundation, was born and raised in Freeport Grand, Bahamas to a large family of 10. From a young age, she watched her parents give to those who were in need and provide mentorship and guidance. Mahala loves reading, traveling, and has a passion for the arts. In the Bahamas, higher education is a privilege that is not easily accessible. While working in the school system years ago, Mahala noticed a lot of young people lacking basic life skills necessary for them to grow and evolve. She believes the mind is a truly powerful tool that should not be wasted. Mahala made it her mission to continuously further her education in efforts to be able to show others what is truly possible.
